HSS Tungsten Buffer - 6.5 ounces - $75

HSS Tungsten Buffer + Wolff XP Spring
Quantity:

HSS Tungsten Buffer Only
Quantity:

The Heavy Stainless Steel Tungsten buffer was developed for the 5.56 round, but it also works great in other calibers as well - Especially the popular Big Bores. These buffers weigh 6.5 ounces – More than twice the weight of OEM carbine buffers.

Machined from solid 303 Stainless Steel with a Tungsten anti-bounce internal weight. Includes a Stainless Steel roll pin for a lifetime of trouble-free performance. The head is polished for an extra smooth finish that won't cause damage to your buffer tube.

An HSS buffer will increase reliability, prevent wear/tear on critical parts, and decrease felt recoil. This product is great for the guys who switch uppers/calibers back and forth – It eliminates hassle of remembering to change the buffer.

Any serious carbine shooter can benefit from installing a HSS buffer. Your carbine will shoot super smooth with less felt recoil, and it will be easier to stay on target for fast follow-up shots. Sub-gun shooters, weekend warriors, 3-gun competitors, range commandos and serious operators all love the HSS Tungsten buffer.

Very effective with .223/5.56, 5.45, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM, and .50 Beowulf. Can also be used with 9mm, .45 ACP, .40 S&W or 10mm.

This is the best all purpose Heavy Buffer on the market, Guaranteed. 100% Maintenance Free – No moving parts to break and no fluids to leak!

I recommend Wolff XP buffer springs for maximum reliability.

XH Carbine Buffer - 8.5 ounces - $125

XH Carbine Buffer + Wolff XP Spring
Quantity:

XH Carbine Buffer Only
Quantity:

This Xtra-Heavy buffer is the heaviest .223 carbine buffer on the market. At 8.5 oz it weighs nearly three times as much as a standard OEM AR15 carbine buffer.

Machined from solid 303 Stainless Steel with Tungsten anti-bounce internal weights. Includes a Stainless Steel roll pin for a lifetime of trouble-free performance. The head is polished for an extra smooth finish that won't cause damage to your buffer tube.

The original intent was to reduce rate of fire in full-auto M16s. The XH buffer weighs nearly three times as much as a standard AR15 carbine buffer so it dramatically decreases the rate of fire, while maintaining reliability. My customers with suppressed weapons love this buffer for the benefits it provides to them. Also helps reduce felt recoil for the the 'Big-Bore' calibers.

I recommend Wolff XP buffer springs for maximum reliability.

I strongly recommend this buffer if any of the following conditions apply:

  • If you will be shooting with a suppressor. (Your gun will still run fine unsuppressed with standard ammunition.)
  • If you will be shooting hot hand loads or very heavy bullets.
  • If you want maximum recoil reduction.

9mm-Q Buffer - 8.5 ounces - $75

9mm-Q Buffer + Wolff XP Spring
Quantity:

9mm-Q Buffer Only
Quantity:

The 9-Q is the original extended length heavy 9mm buffer, engineered from scratch, not a cheap knock-off. Field tested and proven for almost ten years.

I developed the 9mm "Q" Buffer in response to a customer who was having a problem with broken bolt catches on his Colt 9mm rig. He was already using a special (and more expensive) buffer from a large Colt distributor, and his gun was still breaking bolt catches on a regular basis. We isolated the problem and designed this buffer to correct a flaw in the Colt setup.

With Colt 9mm bolt catches running $20+ each, a Q Buffer is cheap insurance against future problems. How many broken catches have you replaced already?

I manufacture the heaviest 9mm buffers available anywhere. There are several side benefits - Smoother function, less felt recoil and reduced rate of fire. 9Q buffers are constructed of 303 Stainless Steel. The 9-Q Buffer has no moving parts to break and no fluids to leak.

The 9-Q Buffer was specifically designed and tested for use with Colt uppers and it has been successfully used in virtually every other brand. Any 9mm AR can benefit from installing a Q buffer. I recommend Wolff XP buffer springs for maximum reliability.

This product is for carbine-length stocks only, a spacer ($15) is required for use with rifle-length stocks. When used with a spacer you'll need a carbine buffer spring.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE OLYMPIC/GLOCK MAGAZINE SYSTEM. For those guns I recommend an HSS Tungsten Buffer. This applies only to the Olympic system, 9Q buffers work great in the DDLES & QC10 Glock lowers.

Also available for suppressed weapons: 9Q-T (Tungsten)

9Q-T Buffer - 12 ounces - $140

9Q-T Buffer Only

9Q-T Adjustable Weight Kit - $15
Quantity:

The 9Q-T buffer works great in SBRs and helps eliminate bolt bounce in full-auto guns.

This buffer was designed specifically for suppressed guns and it weighs more than twice as much as standard OEM 9mm carbine buffers.

The extra mass serves two functions:

  • Rearward movement of the bolt (and thus extraction) is slightly delayed. This fraction of a second allows the brass to 'shrink' back to it's normal size. This in turn greatly reduces stress on the extractor and is much easier on the brass (Important for reloaders). Also helps reduce noise caused by blow-back .

  • Rate of fire is generally reduced 15-25% or more. It's impossible to accurately predict ROF because of all the variables, but a 9Q-T will definitely slow down your runaway train.

The optional Adjustable Weight Kit allows the user to custom 'tune' a 9Q-T buffer to a specifc gun/ammo combination. This kit allows for a range from 5.5 oz up to 12.5 oz total weight. Available only with purchase of a 9Q-T buffer. Not compatible with standard 9Q buffers.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE OLYMPIC/GLOCK MAGAZINE SYSTEM. When shooting those guns suppressed I recommend an XH Carbine Buffer (8.5oz). This applies only to the Olympic system, 9Q-T buffers work great in the DDLES Glock lowers.

.45 ACP Buffer - 8.5 ounces - $75

.45 ACP Buffer + Wolff XP Spring
Quantity:

.45 ACP Buffer Only
Quantity:

This buffer will help prevent damage caused by .45 ACP conversions. Specifically designed to be used in CavArms & ArmaLite/Eagle Arms Poly 15 lowers. Excellent results are also achieved with the new aluminum .45 lower receivers.

The .45 ACP buffer is much heavier and longer than .223 carbine buffers - Resulting in smooth, reliable function and less felt recoil.

I recommend Wolff XP buffer springs for maximum reliability.

This product is for carbine-length stocks only, a spacer ($15) is required for use with rifle-length stocks. When used with a spacer you'll need a carbine buffer spring.
